Fog Lights (Stock)
The foglights that were on the car when i got it were relatively cheap aftermarket lights. i would prefer to have the originals. (maybe with cleaner, brighter bulbs, but the stock lenses look the cleanest on the stock front bumper.)
After looking around for a while, i finally got a nice set of stock fog lights off ebay (good condition, no discoloration, with brackets) for $115 shipped. It turns out i didn’t need the brackets, as i still had the original brackets behind the cheap aftermarket lights. With a little bending back into shape, the new stock fixtures fit right in. The plugs didn’t match though, but a few but connectors later, the stock lenses are installed and looking great.
Project Complete!
The difference is pretty huge, in my opinion, and these lenses really clean up the look of the front of the car. Now i just have to rewire these suckers so that they can stay on even when the headlights are turned off. 🙂
