[Daniel Eran manages to write up a really decent article about these two phones.]
Sure they have their similarities, and the Prada even has a tiny benefit or two, but the iPhone beats it out in just about every category that matters. Perhaps most importantly, though, is the iPhone’s Interface. Just according to the videos available online, though the Prada is nicer than some current phones, its clunky, and has plenty of catching up to do to meet iPhone standards. Adobe Flashlite != OS X, and really, who has more experience with user interfaces? LG or Apple? (or even Adobe or Apple?)
I’ve yet to find any reason for any pundit to legitimately say that the Prada has better specifications, and in fact haven’t really heard many analysts making such a claim… except of course Rob Enderle, but we should all know by now that what he says doesn’t really count for anything.
As far as i can tell, the ONLY thing the Prada might potentially have as an advantage is earlier availability (in Europe, where the iPhone gets this advantage stateside) user-replacable battery (which is probably just a necessity as reports are saying its batter life is poor) and slightly smaller size. Those minor things are a far cry from making up the difference all the other iPhone advantages present.
